Nice - following this closely. I'm getting the itch and called on some prices on the Zuke 300's last week. I may just bite the bullet and overhaul the electronics and repower this year.

Ran the Suzuki 3 x 16 x 23s. Wholeshot was not to my liking and was very sluggish.

    3000 RPM 32 MPH 2.0 MPG
    4000 RPM 42 MPH 2.2 MPG
    5000 RPM 50 MPH 1.4 MPG
    5800 RPM 58 MPH 1.0 MPG (WOT)

The WOT was lower than expected, but I could not trim the motors as with the Rev4s without causing slip. I've read the Suzuki props can't be run as high. Proof positive here.

Overall, I'm putting the Rev4 23s back on until I can get ahold of a pair of Bravo 24s or 26s to test. As things are going, I'm thinking the Bravo 24s will be the best "loaded" prop and the Bravo 26s will be the fastest. Anybody have a pair of the Bravos they would like to swap for the Suzuki 3 x 23s or the Mirage 23s for testing I'm in for a temporary even swap.

Got a chance to run the Bravo 24s

    3000 RPM 31 MPH 2.1 MPG
    4000 RPM 40 MPH 2.1 MPG
    5000 RPM 51 MPH 1.5 MPG
    6100 RPM 61.5 MPH

Ran a fishing trip with the Bravos. 179 miles, 98 gals burned. Sloppy in the morning (2-4s), calmed down during the day, ran 45 MPH the 71 miles home. Lot's of idling around to hold position while dropping and jigging. My only curiosity is the boat seems to be "bouncy in the nose". I was hoping the stern lifting characteristic of the Bravos would calm that down a bit.

Those are great numbers! Nice work! How much fuel, ice, crew, etc., were you carrying?

Full fuel (230 gals), 300 lbs ice, 4 grown ups, all the fishing gear. Only thing I'll add in the summer is the livewell being full and maybe 200 lbs more ice.
