Does anybody know if the numbers would be similar with the new Yamaha 300.
Also on the Yellowfin website it says the Max HP: 350 (verado) Does this mean you can't put a yamaha f350 on it?
nice...

The reason it says Verado is because of the weight of the current f350, so to answer your question yes the f350 is to heavy HOWEVER the new V6 Yamahas are lighter than the Verado so yes the new V6 motors can go on that boat and the new 300 should be a screamer.Originally Posted by Reel Quick

Oh, thanks!
Is there any updates on the performance and how the boat was dialed in? This is a great looking boat!!!
Sea Shot
I am still trying to prop the boat out, I have run a half dozen different props, (25 labbed mirage, 25 fury, 26 labbed bravo 1, 28 bravo 1, lamps houdini) and have been on the limiter with everything except the 28 bravo 1. the problem with that prop is i cant get out of the whole very well. I have two more props coming in today i hope( 27 trophy plus, and a 26 tempest) so hopefully one of these will be the one. If not it will probally end up being a 26 bravo 1 with a little cup added. everyhting else is awesome, no complaints the boat is what i was hoping for. I have not even had a chance to enjoy the boat yet we have only used in in a few tournaments so far. I plan on taking the family out on sunday if the weather is nice, so hopefully i will have some cruising numbers.
where is your limiter? 6100?
21yellowfin,
Thanks for the update. I hope that you are able to find some time to use it for yourself. Keep us posted when you can, as I know a lot of people like this boat.
Thanks again.
