Hey all, I should have posted this last week.
They hung the engine on the first one yesterday. I sure it will be runnung next week.
i stopped by there again today, wylie was there himself helping complete the demo boat. they said it will be in the water tomorrow. hopefully some numbers by monday. come on tom get the scoop!
Just to keep this going.
lookin forward to seeing it in Miami
The more and more I look at this boat the I think I would perfer the 21 over the 24. Is there an option of a polling tower for this boat or is it too large for polling?![]()
Poling platform is an option.
I had the chance to run hull no. 1 this past Sunday while shooting a fishing show. The conditions were far from perfect with south winds 15 - 20 knots. We also had a 24 out that was our "fishing" boat while the 21 was our "camera boat". The 21 is an amazing boat and handled the bay chop much better then I though it would. In fact on our run back dead into the wind and seas I was able to run just as fast as the captain who was in the 24 ran. The boat, like the 24, needs to get up on top of the chop and does it perfectly. We ran 32 - 37 MPH and stayed relatively dry. The camera crew had smiles on their faces all the way back as they thought it was going to be a miserable ride. Just before we turned into the ramp in some slightly better conditions I ran her wide open for about a minute and saw 58 mph into a 15+ knot wind with the speedo still climbing quickly.
