After years of reading these posts I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a 24CE. As I have read many times before, waiting to go into the mold is terrible but I finally got to experience the utter joy of hearing that my boat is in the mold today!!
This is how I am setting up the boat, any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. First custom build and want to get it right.

Sweet! That's going to look great. Now comes the agonizingly slow but fun part of watching the build. Love the SUP rack addition.
What type of fishing do you do? Might consider beefing up that B60 to a better transducer. Changing transducers is easy now and a pain later. Your Garmin unit is CHIRP capable, but the B60 is not. We run a B164 which covers the same frequencies as the B60 with more power. Also run a B175W (high frequency, wide beam CHIRP). The difference in image clarity is significant. We typically fish in waters from 5-100' deep. If you always fish in 20' of water it probably won't matter.
Enjoy the process!
Dr. Nole, first pictures were uploaded to the clientview but are not very exciting as they are just the molds etc. I will definitely post as the process moves along. I also plan on taking a trip down once the hull is popped to look at the color on something bigger than the 3x3inch sample they sent me.
CharlieK, thanks for the info on transducers I am going to research them. I typically fish west coast of florida i.e. cedar key, steinhatchee but take a few trips a year to captiva and want to start taking my boat to the keys. 90% of what I fish is 5' or less but I also haven't had a boat that will be as offshore capable as this is so I may wander out a little more often than I have in the past. Please keep the suggestions coming.
I have been a little torn between 1 16" screen or 2 12" screens.
Funny, but your right everytime I go I have seen more and more of them in that area. Makes sense being so close to the factory. The hull is going to be a color they are calling Gainesville Blue but it is not Gator Blue by any means. It is a grey/blue we picked from lowes paint chips, I think it was called Hampton Blue from Valspar. Should be different for sure.
Congrats on the ride you will love it for sure,
Just a heads up is the hydro drip will not last that long may want to look at a solid power coat and also trim tabs. I am adding tabs to mine within the next few weeks as the boat is hard to leave out when using one of the outside wells. Enjoy the process

Rippenlips, thanks for the info. Second person to say think about trim tabs.
First pictures of hull out of mold. Looks purplish in the pictures but is really a grey blue.

Congrats on the build! I have one being built now as well. It's a bit ahead of yours. Should be hitting rigging soon.
