Pinking interior

I have a 2015 29' Yellowfin and a couple of my seat cushions have pinking,which the seat get a pink purple tint. I e-mailed service before the boat was a year old to get it on record. I stopped in to the service dept. last Friday. They told me I would have to pay for it,but I would get it at cost. So I called my sales person and he told me the same thing not really happy with that answer thats why Iam posting this,when your sending that much money from a custom boat and get treated this way?

Stop using spray sunscreen near the cushions. That would be my guess as to the cause. Not really a boat manufacturer issue. The other cause could be diet Dr. Brown's Black Cherry, but I think that was a specific problem on my boat with my wife spilling her drink

I'm curious if you have learned anything more as to what caused this "pinking" problem. I am building a 32' and wonder if I need to stay away from certain cushions. Thanks

It's an industry wide problem and from what YF told me they haven't been able to pinpoint the culprit or a Solution? I'm interested to hear what others have done.....

I had the same issue on a Cobia, I was told it was a fungi of some sort. Eventually it will actually decompose the material. Not sure if it is factual or not.
