For Sale: $4000 - Mercury Marine Verado 5.44" 1.85 XXL and CXXL (30") lower units. This pair was on a customer's 32' YF that struck an underwater bridge cable at planing speed. The parish, where the incident occurred, stepped up and replaced the lower units and props. The damage is strictly external and cosmetic, which could easily be repaired. The prop shafts were checked and are not bent. The original lowers were replaced with these, under warranty in 2013, at 700 hours and the engines currently have 920.
