Just thinking out loud, When I bought my 24 YF they were the only choice IMO for a top of the line super cool bayboat. Now there is a lot of competition in the bay boat world and I am thinking just having a carbon boat at 20% more $$$ will be for a very very small crowd. The 24 YF is a little old school looking compared to some of the new builds might be a hard sell. There are a few new amazing looking bay boats out there. 27 SEEVEE 26 Carolina Shearwater 26 Barker Just to name a few. I think with the extra beem = displacement the barker may float in surprisingly little water at over 9 feet wide.

I agree 100% with your thinking, I also think Yellowfin will hold value more than most of those guys down the road. As technology gets better and better it will be interesting to see what happens with the pricing. This 24CE boat is still one of a kind and demand will be pretty good for a few years!

Good points. More 24 YFs listed for sale now than I have seen since 2010. Dealers with new 24s on the lot too - unheard off a few years ago.

Went to Miami boat show today the carbon is around $10k more than the current 24 bay.
