How do you access the sending unit on the main tank of a 32? Have trouble with the gas guage reading full all the time.

Ask your mechanic first. Had the same problem and he fixed it without opening hatch up by resetting Mercurys vessel view. Good luck!

Please let me know if you find out anything. I have a 2010 32 and my port saddle tank always reads full. I have never addressed it, I just monitor the fuel burn info. Thanks

I actually have Yamahas, so no Mercury guages. The center tank has a small generic round guage on the dash. Emailed Richard and to access the sending unit you have to cut hole in the floor under the battery trays. Not sure I want to do that, may just continue to monitor the fuel used and keep the saddle tanks full just in case. Something to consider when building a new boat...ask them to put an access hole & cover over the sending unit. It would be hidden under the batteries.
