Thread: New 39 on the way

Default New 39 on the way

I am moving up from my 36yf to a 39 and should be taking delivery of it around the middle to end of May. It will be powered with trip 350 Yamahas and was trying to get some recommendations on which props would be best to run. I will be chartering the boat out of Venice, la and usually carrying a pretty heavy load (300-400 gallons of fuel, 500-600lbs of ice, full gear, usually 6-8 people on board). From what I've seen and heard it looks like the 3 blade yami props are the fastest but I would like to find which props will give me my best cruise/mid range.

Sounds like a really Bad A$$ rig there.
Building a small YF navy down the bayou, huh? Looking good.
I love Venice fishing - just another world.

Met you in the marina bar in Venice this past February. If your 39 is all black, I think I saw them working on the rigging yesterday. 1 word. WOW. Will drop a line to you next time I am in Venice. Would love to spend a day on a 39 killing yfs.
