What are you going to when you blow a gear case with only two motors. The motors are pretty heavy do you think it will be able to get up on the step with just one without changing the prop

Got a better chance than with a verado

Verado: 300hp and weighs 648 lbs. which means it has 2.16 pounds per 1hp
Seven 557: 557hp and weighs 1000 lbs. which means it has 1.80 pounds per 1hp

So even though its heavier, it has a much better power to weight ratio

It's proven that the 36 will get up and run with two motors on a triple engine boat. I just think that it will be tough to get the boat to run with just one of those motors without changing the prop on the motor. Me myself like the triple engine setup with the triple verados.

Also has seven marine given the horse power at the gear case yet or are the just giving the block hp. I'm not sure but I think every time you throw in a 90 degree turn in the drive shaft I think you lose hp. I'm not sure about this but have been told by more than one person that knows what they are talking about
