Currently running Mirage Plus 23p on 34YF w/ trip 300 vrods and seeing 66 to 68 moderate to heavy load and 70 to 72 light. In order to get the outside motors to turn up 6400 rpm i have to trim them to 4.3 with the center at 3.1. Anyone have experience running Rev 4's on this set up and if so what pitch, performance, and fuel burn did you see at cruise and top end. I'm considering running Rev 4's on all three and willing to lose a couple mph on top end if fuel efficiency is gained at cruise with better handling...also i'm considering running a Rev 4 just in the center or Rev 4's just on the outside motors...thoughts anyone?

you want to shoot for 6250 rather than 6400. You won't hit the limiters when loaded light that way.

I had the same boat with 275s and did not like the way the Rev 4s did. It made the boat feel light off shore. I did add cup to the center prop and brought the rpms down 200 and picked up 1-2 mph.

I am considering doing something with my 36 trip 300 Verados. I have 23p Mirage plus on all three motors, my rpms on the center motor are 300 higher than the outside two motors when they are all trimmed evenly. I have to trim the outside two higher to match the rpms of the center motor. I was thinking about getting work done to the center prop, trying a 4 blade or another idea was to run 21's on the outside motors but, I dont know if that has been tried or not yet? Anyone? I would like to hear the props other people run on their boats and numbers. Beauller.....Beauller.......Beauller......!

Ken at Propgods has the experience at this - give him a call. I know Wylie has tried virtually all the props and keeps coming back to Mirages as the best overall combo.

I now am running a 24 Bravo in the center and it evened out the RPMs with the 23 Mirage on the outside. Picked up no speed or effeciency. I really think adding a little cup to the center 23 mirage is the way to go. Some of these guys really like the worked REV 4 on all 3. I just think it makes the boat run light in the big sea.

Yeah, Ken ran my boat with me but it was when it was new and I was not very experienced running it. I even had the sinc button on at the time and also did not realise how high you can trim them and still gain speed. Im just curious more than anything to see what set ups other people have played with. Thanks tripleplay, maybe I will just get the center prop worked a little sometime.

If you do that dont let them thin the blades. Just add a little cup and slight pitch. Remember thinning makes them more delicate and the center engine is the 1st one to touch bottom . Good Luck
