Where is this boat I keep hearing so much about? Is it built and running yet or is it a top secret thing? ;D

I'll have a better idea when I get motors to 50 hours, but so far with 3 blades (Mirages) she hit 68 and at cruise (40mph) she gets 2.0 mpg. Still got a couple other props I have to try.

Anthem, after being on your boat a couple of times both during calm conditions my feeling is that with a larger bay chop or small ocean swell to free up & vent the bottom you'll see something very close to 70. Either way you've got one he$$ of a sweet ride my friend!

Just curious (ie: no bashing meant), is this setup competition for the Invincible 33 and 36?

Was at the factory on Thursday and she was still in finishing, had a few things left to do. Went back again on Friday and she was outside on a trailer, looked almost ready to get out on the water. It appeared to be mostly finished, maybe just a final polishing and the weird thing was that although it was outside and on the trailer and appeared to be ready for a final cleanup and then delivery, it didn't have trim tabs on? My buddy and I were climbing around on it and it has trim tab controls on the helm, and obviously the hull has the spaces for them, but there were no cutouts in the hull for trim tab mounting hardware or wiring. I'm going back again tomorrow to finalize the plan for my new 32' and place my order, so I'll let you guys know if I find out anything about it.

The owner is probably putting them on himself.. he does a bunch of stuff himself

Wow! With those number, you guys can expect ALOT more requests for this setup. :o

I requested..... This boat was a one-time only deal. The rest of us who want triples will have to go with the 34' or 36'. When I ordered my 32' I asked Wylie if he'd make me one with trips because the biggest boat that my canal/lift could handle and the biggest boat that I would be comfortable taking out/fishing off of alone would be a 32'. He said this boat was the first, last, and only 32' Yellowfin that'll ever be built with trips. Which is understandable, even if he'd agreed the cost of those motors would put you into the territory of a 34' with trip 300 Verados I think, if not more. Wylie also made the point that resale value for this boat will be basically non-existent. Definitely some sick numbers though for sure. Fastest I've ever been on water is 70mph on a jetski and that's plenty fast for me, I can't even imagine what 82 must feel like. Congrats to whoever's boat this is, I think it's definitely safe to say you've got the fastest 32' Yellowfin that ever has and ever will exist.

The guy who has it is a personal and business friend of Yellowfin and has had numerous REALLY fast yellowfins in the past. I am pretty sure he doesn't give a rats butt about resale and pretty much gets what he wants and runs it hard.

If its the one and only one out there someone will put up a lot of money just so they can be the one to have the only 32' w/trips. If it ever goes up for sale.

That's what I thought too. Wylie said it wouldn't hold value because there's only like a 2 year warranty on those Opti's, but I'd agree that somebody would be willing to pay at least close to the price when it was new just to be the only person to own a 32' with trips. Maybe the owner will decide to sell it right about the time that I'm ready to upgrade from my 32' with twins. ;D

Was this boat in Mexico Beach, FL within the past 2 months? I ask this because my buddy was fishing out of there and he said he saw a Yellowfin 30-32' with trips on it. He was telling me when the capt hit the throttles down, that boat was gone. He ended up talking to him later that day at the docks but I don't know if he got the guys name.

If it was a 32 YF that was actually seen and it had trips, it is the boat that is the subject of this thread as there is no other 32 YF w/ trips out there.

Also, Mercury Racing offers 2 years warranty on these but you can add another 2 years for a total of 4 years warranty.

Looks like I was a day late and a dollar short. You can never have too many yellowfin pics even if its of the same boat. Found it on another site. They say she does around 82mph. This is one fast fishing machine.
