Default My first 36 Yellowfin order

    • Cabela's Waterfowl Classic
I just completed the paperwork for and put the deposit on my first Yellowfin! It's a 36 with quite a few options. I used this forum nearly exclusively to pick out what people recommended. I really hope it turns out as good as I am expecting.

I am boating / fishing in the Ft. Myers area. I am super excited but now I need to wait 6 more months before I can enjoy the new boat
In the mean time, I would love to get your opinion on the options I picked out.

I am FINALLY in production. I should be ready by end of September. I can't wait. We are going to wrap the boat. Here are some early build photos and the mock up of the wrap we are considering.

Awesome build. I don't think you will need the bow thruster. I would get a flir. How fast did Wylie say it would run with the twin 557's?
    Happy Fishing!

Build looks great, best of luck. The FLIR is also a fantastic item. If you run and dock in a lot of heavy current, a bow thruster would be nice. The last two Yellowfin's I built with customers had bow thrusters, both customers are glad they put the thruster on. I'm curious about the speed numbers also with the 557's.

The boat is supposed to do 75MPH. The test boat I ran is currently for sale and the ad has a post of the speed and fuel burns.

You can see it here in the last photo:

The boat has a bow thruster because it also has the Seven Marine joystick system. Therefore, it has to have the thruster to work.

This thing is going to be a beast! Awesome! Get the booze cushion for your Rowan boxes to hold your bottles. Great feature. Good luck

Here is the first mock up of the engine color scheme we are considering to match the boat wrap. We are looking at adding some "heat waves" like the wrap but for now, here is the first past.
